Technical Business Analyst – Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines – Hybrid

You will be an experienced Analyst, comfortable working as part of an agile scrum development team, focused on supporting the team to understand business nuance and deliver high-quality, robust, solutions for CloudPay’s customers.

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Engage with Agile Teams, Payroll/Implementation Specialists, Customers and Executives across the enterprise to understand business processes, identify user needs and objectives, and propose suitable solutions
  • Synthesize and analyse information from multiple sources, decompose high-level requirements into detailed specifications, and abstract low-level information into a clear understanding of the problem-solution domain
  • Help to drive alignment and clarity on business goals and priorities, and help to steer development activity towards delivering fit-for-purpose, fit-for-use solutions that may span product lines and multiple business domains and/or deliver business process change.
  • Handle the elicitation, analysis and management of more complex requirements, where the size and complexity of the requirement may impact multiple business processes/areas, and may span several concurrent backlogs with interdependencies
  • Proactively collaborate with stakeholders in requirements elicitation and scoping, managing changes, user acceptance testing and in various touchpoints throughout the solutions delivery cycle
  • Manage a development backlog, ensure stories are ordered in a logical manner incorporating feedback from stakeholders and working collaboratively with the team to successfully deliver product releases
  • Develop and maintain documentation on business use cases, user stories, workflows, specifications and other resources to aid in future expansion and maintenance of deployed solutions
  • In collaboration with the Product Owners, sets the governance process for prioritization decisions and requirements change management

Attributes and Experience Required:

  • Comprehensive experience working as a Technical Analyst, Business Analyst, or Product Owner
  • Proven experience in requirements management, technical business analysis and solutions design definition
  • Strong interpersonal skills, analytical and detail-oriented
  • Solid organisational and planning skills
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Business-level spoken and written proficiency in English

The following would be an advantage:

  • Experience in technical business analysis of enterprise-level solutions in payroll, banking or finance
  • Experience in software/solutions development or a related field
  • Experience working as part of an agile development team
