APAC Payroll Specialist – Makati City, Metro Manila, Philippines – Hybrid

Our fast-growing team in Philippines are looking for a Payroll Specialist who specializes in Philippines and other APAC payroll process and can bring their own unique energy and enthusiasm to work with multi-national companies in the APAC region to promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Payroll Specialist will be responsible for operational processing of the payrolls along with other existing CloudPay resources and able to work collaboratively with Cloudpay global payroll operations team.

Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Philippines and APAC payroll and operational support services relating to payroll services to clients
  • Perform regular and supplementary payroll processing runs for Philippines and Asia Pacific Clients
  • Perform payroll payment process via funding and bank file generation, uploading and crediting
  • Perform payroll reconciliation, payment and reporting of monthly statutory remittances in accordance with the country specific local statutory and company policies and reporting Year-end Tax activities and remittances
  • Ensure that all payroll services provided are in accordance with organization policies and agreed work details with clients meeting the Service Level Agreement
  • Managing and attending to all payroll matters and queries from clients via e-mails, calls and meetings, on a timely manner (within 24 hours turnaround time)
  • Update payroll manual as and when on a timely basis and maintenance of other compensation related information

Attributes and Experience Required:

  • End-to-end payroll processing experience handing Philippines payroll and is a plus with international payroll and associated rules (e.g. Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan)
  • Strong understanding on the whole payroll processing cycle including filing of government statutory claims and tax submission
  • Knowledge with APAC HR & Payroll law and policy as it pertains to service center support models and implementation
  • Experience working in an outsourcing environment or have managed large-in-house payroll headcount
  • Strong communication skills in English, as this role will highly communicate/deal with clients and international business partner
  • Proficiency in MS Office with strong MS Excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Able to work under pressure and as part of a team
