We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Payroll Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in building and leading a team of high performing payroll specialists supporting CloudPay’s EMEA clients.
The successful candidate will drive team performance, optimize staffing and foster a positive work environment through effective coaching and strategic goal setting.
Please note that this is an onsite role, 4 days a week, 1:00 pm to 12 am shift.
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
- Directly lead the day-to-day activities, performance, and development of all payroll specialists in the team
- Hire, train and develop payroll specialists and ensure their professional growth in the various aspects of the role
- Manage employee inquiries and resolve escalated issues
- Ensure the sustainability and growth of the team by high level engagement and minimizing unwanted attrition
- Plan and prioritize activities and workload of the team for best efficiency and effectiveness
- Regularly report back to the EMEA Payroll Manager
Attributes and Experience required:
- Strong experience in supervising or managing a team
- Evaluate processes and provide recommendations to the EMEA Payroll Manager on any process improvements
- Experience within the Payroll industry would be a plus
- Provide support to the EMEA Payroll Manager in strategic and operational decisions
- Working with cross-functional teams, on a variety of projects
- Computer skills including MS Office applications
- Forward thinking, planning and organizational skills
